After completing all the legal procedures, with approval of the CWC (Child Welfare Committee) prospective parents can legally adopt a child. "Adoption” means the process through which the adopted child is permanently separated from his biological parents and becomes the legitimate child of his adoptive parents with all the rights, privileges and responsibilities that are attached to the relationship.
The first step is registration. Adhering to all legal parameters from Pre-Adoption process through Adoption process to Post-Adoption process, may involve a lot of patient waiting. Adopting a child is a liberating experience. It relieves a parent of all stress and frustration of being childless. A child can fill one's life with joy and peace. These are the procedural understanding that CARA sets forth:

2. Pre-Adoption Process
3. Adoption
4. Post-Adoption Process
