We proudly say that we were able to prevent more than 3000 boys and girls from becoming anti social elements and we have facilitated these boys and girls to have a better future, in partnership with our sponsors.
The rehabilitation activities of Saranalayam are very much known to the people of the Tirunelveli town and also to the people in the other parts of the district.

We are getting more volunteers in the form of self help group leaders, auto rickshaw drivesr, shop & hotel owners, friends of police, Rotary, Lions club and etc,.
Police officials and the district officials are very cooperative.
On many occasions the inmates of Saranalayam are supplied food by the well-wishers.
Any emergency help is available from the public.
Awareness has been created among the village leaders on understanding the youth with their problems and guide them.
Our counseling and rehabilitation activities have prevented suicides.
Many thrown away babies were saved, brought up in healthy atmosphere under the care of lovely parents.
Various news papers, magazines and visual medias have reported about the activities of Saranalayam and this has created an awareness among the public on the need of supporting the women in distress and the need of protecting the life of the children.
Youth groups spend their time in our shelter children. and encourage them through entertainment programs.
At least the public now know where to go, whom to contact when they meet unwed mothers or abandoned babies.
