Saranalayam - Projects

"SARANALAYAM" denoting "Sanctuary for children" was established in 1993 for serving the children from 0-16. Its exclusive services to the children for 15 years have brought its identity as a "Child-Centric" cum "Women Centred" development organization in the southern districts of Tamilnadu. It also launched a special unit "VIDIYAL" (Meaning Dawn) in 2002 for caring children from 0 - 6 years. It adopts babies of unwed mothers, abandoned babies, unwanted babies and disabled babies. It operates child line; 1098, a 24 hour free Help Line for children.
